Our Practice

A family tradition of kindness and care.

With over 50 years experience caring for pets and people, you can be sure that the health of your furry family members is our top priority!

The word on the alley is that a family tradition of healing really means something at Avon Veterinary Clinic.

It means that the doctors have earned an extraordinary level of trust. It means they make the time to stay on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine, and make state-of-the-art equipment a top priority.

It means, too, that you and your pet will feel like family. Because the doctors treat your pet like one of their own — and treat you with the kind of respect that values your time and keeps prices reasonable.

And after several decades of superb, gentle, honest care, what has been the result? Generations of happy, healthy pets. Hundreds of families who are confident they've chosen the best for their best friend.

“It's a demanding job that can wear you out if you let it”

I love the people, I love the animals and I am so lucky to have been able to follow this path, one that I chose as a kid. For 42 years of practice I have seen a lot and learned a lot, and I have never stopped learning.

First Aid and Your Pet

Dealing with an injured pet can be scary and frustrating. In many cases, you don't know how bad the injury is, and your pet may not be acting normally. If your pet is injured, the first thing you need to do is try to remain calm. Remember that any pet, no matter how calm or friendly, can bite or scratch when in pain.
